Learn the process of how to layout, measure, and execute a project from paper to completion. Using precise forging and traditional Joinery to make a beautiful and functional hammer rack for your forge. Skills covered in the course will be slit and drift joinery and tooling design, precision upset square corners, and friction fit wedge joinery. A big focus will be put on accurate drawings and measuring to produce an intentional forging and deliberate outcome. Experience with slit and drift would be a benefit but not a necessity. A confident hammer and knowledge of material movement would be a good baseline.
