Wrought Iron Bar

This material was reclaimed by Liberty Salvage from a local turn of the century mill as well as other locations in Maine. It forges very well with little or no splitting, has a very lively pattern and welds beautifully. We have a new stock of round in 1", 1.25", 1.5" and 1.75" and square in 7/8" and 1". We have limited stock in Auburn and can ship UPS. For larger quanities we can put you in touch with Liberty Salvage for pick up ONLY. NESM can also forge down to size.  We have sold several thousand pounds to bladesmiths as well as blacksmiths for reproduction work.

      Knowing the difficulties in finding quality coal, NESM now makes this as painless as possible. NESM offers low clinker, low sulfur and medium to low ash content coal. It is pre bagged in 50 lb. bags
