NESM Scholarship Program

     After a few years of raising the much need funds to help expand and relocate the Metalsmithing program, we are proud to bring our scholarship program back to you for Metalsmithing.

     Thanks to generous donations from individuals we are offering three oppurtunites, the Al Pratt Memorial Scholarship for Blacksmithing, the Richrad C. Wright; Ruel Wright Memorial Blacksmithing Scholarship and the David and Rachel Knowlton Bladesmithing Scholarship.

      Each of these scholarship oppurtunities cover a 4 to 5 day course and choice of dorm or travel stipend not exceeding 25% of the tuition of the workshop choosen. Maximum grant values are approximately $790.00. Selection of awards is based on fully answered questions through a written narrative and reveiwed by a selection committee of non-associated individuals. The 2018 Scholarship Application round has ended. The 2019 application will be posted Ocotber 1, 2018.



   The 2019 scholarship applications will be only be accepted after October 1, 2018 with a deadline of application to NESM by December 1, 2018 and with a notification to the individuals awarded by January 1, 2019. Notifications to those not awarded will follow.
