           Just as you need all the right tools in the right places when you are forging;…….. same goes for the workbench or layout table. For good work to happen efficiently at the forge; one must prepare the material properly. What is needed ??, small squares, dividers, calipers, center punch, bench hammer, scribe and patience. A seasoned beginner level student will understand and move through various forging processes such as punching and drifting, forge welding, tapering, file work and the heat treatment of simple carbons steel. 

          Students with the right skill level will find this an enjoyable tool course on a smaller scale…….. but with higher levels of accuracy and precision. This collection of tools will suit all and multiples of some are never wrong in the active shop.
