Through lecture and slide show, our seasoned instructor will cover all basic technical information about welding aluminum and its properties. What makes welding aluminum different from other metals and how to trouble shoot and refine your approach. Students will receive practical hands-on lessons in the proper equipment set up for each process followed by a series of exercises to provide as much hands-on training in each.
GMAW - using a push pull system to weld 1/4in aluminum bars. With 1/8in bars to follow.
GTAW - to tig weld on 1/8in material. Specific exercises or a small project will complement the practice.
