ONE DAY MIG WELDING CLINIC
The eight hour Saturday GMAW/MIG clinic provides the student with a basic introduction to this semi-automatic wire fed welding process. The clinic begins in the classroom with discussions on GMAW techniques, weld metal transfer, shielding gases, basic troubleshooting, and welding safety. In the booths, students will practice MIG welding on 1/4” and 1/8” carbon steel using the short-arc metal transfer.
HOURS: The one day MIG welding clinic runs from 8:00 to 4:00. 30 minute break at noon.
TUITION: $230 – Tuition includes instruction, all materials, and the use of the school’s personal protective equipment (PPE’s helmet, jacket, gloves, safety glasses, and beanie) for the day or feel free to bring your own PPE.
