ONE DAY TIG WELDING
The eight hour Saturday GTAW/TIG clinic introduces the student to a manual process that can produce small, precise welds on a variety of materials. GTAW techniques, tungsten selection, shielding gas, basic troubleshooting, and welding safety are discussed in the classroom. Each student will have the opportunity to practice TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
HOURS: The one day TIG welding clinic runs from 8:00 to 4:00. 30 minute break at noon.
TUITION: $230 – Tuition includes instruction, all materials, and the use of the school’s personal protective equipment (PPE’s helmet, jacket, gloves, safety glasses, and beanie) for the day or feel free to bring your own PPE.
