In this class, students are taught the proper methods for welding flat and out of position fillet and square butt weld joints on 1/8” and1/4” carbon steel using ER70S-6 solid wire in the short arc transfer. An introduction to spray and pulsed-spray arc transfers is also included in the course.
To keep costs down, we require that all night students supply their own basic protective equipment – welding helmet, jacket, gloves, safety glasses.
TUITION/FEES: $605.00 ($575.00 tuition plus $30.00 registration fee). Tuition includes instruction and all materials. Full payment is due at the time of enrollment.
