“Students will laminate and pattern CruForgeV/wrought iron SanMai in class, and cut and forge it into a hidden-tang chef knife blade each.  Handles will be constructed in a threaded tang/frame handle manner, with wood scales and a synthetic bolster.  Blades grinds will be thin and slightly convex.  Class includes welding, forging, brazing, grinding, machining, design, and finishing /etching techniques among others.  Intermediate/advanced level.”
